4 Awards and cash prize of Rs 15000 by Child Protection Club KCLAS

Rithick ( Viscom ) and Devi Sowmya ( Viscom) Representing KCLAS Child Protection Club participated in the film festival organised by District Child Protection Unit and Bharatiyar University on Oct 17th & 18th held at Bharathiar University.

KCLAS Won the State Silver medal in Kabaddi and one Lakh Cash Award in SDAT CM Trophy Tournament!

We are delighted to share that 2 of our KCLAS women Kabaddi players Karpagavalli I -BA Political Science and Arivumathi I- BSc Sports Science were selected to represent our Coimbatore District Women’s Kabaddi team to participate in the SDAT CM Trophy State-level tournament (College Category) held at Chennai from 10th to 13th Oct. Team CBE constituting both the players won the Runners title with the Cash Award of 50k for each player.

We are delighted to share that our student, Ms. Pranavi from III BA Political Science, has won the Best Delegate Award at the 61st All India Political Science Conference & International Seminar organized by the Indian Political Science Association.

The event, held on October 18–19, 2024, was hosted by Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner (Rajasthan) and revolved around the theme “Viksit Bharat @ 2047.”

We congratulate Ms. Pranavi for this remarkable achievement and bringing laurels to the Political Science department and the Institution.

Completion of Para Basic Course -Sarvesh R – School of Management

Dear Team,

We are proud to inform that Sarvesh R of III BBA has successfully completed his Para Basic Course and earned the distinguished Para Wing “Chidiya” today. By doing so, he has joined the elite ranks of the paratrooper family. Sarvesh underwent 13 days of intensive ground training in Agra and successfully passed the Fun Descent Test. His remarkable achievement reflects his dedication and perseverance.

KCLAS MSW Student gets short Term online Internship at NHRC

Out of 100 students from different states of the country and from different backgrounds of Discipline, only three students from Tamilnadu were selected for this Internship. Our KCLAS student Ms. Sreevino P of I yr Masters Of Social work has been selected for this internship.

This internship program will give many insights for the students on Human rights, to know about international law and human rights, Rights of prisoners, virtual tour to the Tihar jail which is the largest jail in India and to know about the forensic role in Human rights . Mostly sessions are handled by NHRC officers. Interns will be assisted in research, analysis, and documentation related to human rights issues. This experience will enhance understanding of human rights laws, policies, and the functioning of a national human rights body, while contributing to meaningful work in promoting and protecting human rights.

We’re delighted to announce that Abitha and Akil, first-year MSW students, have secured the prestigious position of Field Enumerator in an ICSSR-funded project through the National Commission for Women. This remarkable achievement reflects their dedication and competence. They’ll be contributing to research at the International Institute of Migration Studies.
