Young Entrepreneurs Program (YEP) Launch
We are indeed happy that this year we have launched a unique and well designed project – Young Entrepreneurs Program (YEP) which is infused with our three-year undergraduate Business Program . The vision of the program is value creation through entrepreneurship education for individuals, region and nation. The KCLAS BBA YEP model has been adapted from model proposed by OECD of infusing entrepreneurship in education to nurture sustainable value creation(entrepreneurs) and skill based value creation (entrepreneurs). This global model proposes on education about and through entrepreneurship for a deep impact.
KCLAS has adapted this model with a 3 year focus.
Year 1- Foundation and Exploration
Course work, Training, Seed Fund for a nano business for 3 months , mentoring.
Year 2 – Plan and Launch
Choose either Start-up or family business track and create a business plan for startup or Growth/ Reinvention/ Diversification (GRID) plan for family business. Pitch for funding. Register the startup and other legal compliances.
Year 3 – Take-off and Growth
Launch and manage the establishment while refining the strategies for growth
During the three years we have empaneled mentors that include entrepreneurs, auditors, parents and trainers.
Todays Launch itself has been specially designed. The pre and post launch will run for 24 hours through the night and students will be engaged in startup and family business visits, dinner and breakfast meeting with entrepreneurs , sturgeon moon watch, learning modules and team time together – to give them a taste of an entrepreneurs life !
