Guest Talk on Information Technology in Banking - Kumaraguru College of Liberal Arts & Science (KCLAS)

Department of Commerce organised a Guest Talk on Information Technology in Banking for I B.Com PA on 19/09/2019. The Resource person was Mr. B. Vishnu , Junior Officer, Tech Marketing Team, Federal Bank Ltd, Coimbatore. He is holding a position of Junior Officer and gained 7 years’ experience in this field. He finished his MBA (Banking and Finance) at Bharathiar University and he graduated in Sri Krishna Arts and Science College in the year 2012.

He holds 9 offer letters in placements and had a record of Highest placed student. Apart from professional work, he served in many social organisation like Rotary club, Rotaract, JCI India, Lions Club etc., . He is a Corporate Trainings like Outbound training, Leadership Development, Soft Skill Training and Team work. He also is a professional Anchor, Expert in Event Management and having an own Musical Band named as Balgani Music.

The session started with a welcome address and Introduction of Guest by Ms. Unmesha . M of I B.Com PA. Guest speaker started the session with the concepts of banking. He explains the Digital Transformation in Banking services. He made clear the students about the computerised banking which improves the core banking system. He discussed the Online Loan Processing, Mobile Banking, Recharge their mobile phones just by sending SMS etc. Linkage of Aadhar with Driving License, banking account will easily track and automatically the amount will deducted for penalty for abiding traffic rules. He demonstrated the various new technological banking products available with Federal Bank Ltd such Fed Book, Feb Mobile, Fed Selfie and Scan N pay to the students. He concluded Overall the session was very interactive and useful to the students. The session was closed with a vote thanks by Mr. Rajdeep Singh of I B.Com PA.
