The uniqueness of KCLAS is a transformative and holistic approach to achieving sustainable excellence. We recognise that leadership and management are crucial in achieving strategic and operational plans, and in developing a culture which defines a clear purpose, direction and involvement for our stakeholders, including students and their parents, management, academic and non-academic staff, partners, the local community and funding agencies. Our approach to quality is that of continuous and inclusive development towards sustainable excellence, and we are established on the guidelines of internationally recognized and practically applicable quality management methodology – European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM). It was established in 1989, by 14 largest European companies who recognise the need for a radical change in Total Quality Management and is embedded into every vertical of KCLAS. The KCLAS Excellence Framework enables a systematic quality management and evaluation processes within our institution.

KCLAS Excellence Framework forms the foundation for a holistic analysis of our institution, while enabling the analysis of strengths and potential areas for improvement. This in turn helps to determine the measures to be taken along the institution’s progress towards achieving sustainable excellence.
