Our KCLAS UG Final Year Students successfully completed the Community Engagement Program, making a meaningful impact through six key projects:
In Phase 1, students conducted an orientation and needs assessment, benefiting over 430+ individuals, including government school children, slow learners, youth, and the public. Collaborating with organizations like the District Child Protection Unit, District Public Health, Cognito Learning Academy, CSW Foundation, Namadhu Pangu, and Panchayat Heads, they identified community needs.
Phase 2, 300+ students implemented 30+ intervention programs, such as awareness sessions, rallies, peer learning, an LMS portal for schools, and child rights workshops.
Finally, in Phase 3, each project underwent a comprehensive review and evaluation, where external industry experts assessed the projects on various parameters, ensuring their effectiveness and sustainability.
Students expressed how the program provided invaluable hands-on experience and strengthened their commitment to social responsibility. This initiative truly embodies the power of social work in action, fostering real change in communities!
