Ms. Pooja is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in English at VIT University, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, with a research focus on contemporary issues in linguistics and advertising. She earned her M.A. in English from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore (2018–2020), and her B.A. in English from Avinashilingam Deemed University, Coimbatore (2015–2018).
Her research explores the dynamics of bilingualism and translanguaging in media, examining how language interaction influences consumer behavior and reflects societal trends. She qualified for the NET in December 2019, further strengthening her academic and professional expertise in English language and literature, particularly in media and advertising studies.

Published research in SCOPUS and UGC CARE-listed journals, exploring topics such as translanguaging in advertising, language use in media, and the representation of social issues in literature.
