Introduction

Mr.M.Athmaramani completed his bachelor degree in Economics from Avc College Mayiladuthurai which is affiliated to bharathidasan university where he is a university gold medalist ,later he pursued his Master degree in Economics from Bharathiar University Coimbatore, While doing his Masters he cleared SET which was conducted by Mother Teresa University Kodaikanal, his work experience includes Assistant Professor in Arunachal University of Studies Arunachal Pradesh for one year eight months where he handled papers such as Indian Economy ,Development Economics Ethics and Economics,and He also worked as a Project Fellow in Bharathidasan University Tiruchirapalli for seven months where he carried out research project titled on WASH- Social Enterprise Development on WASH – Cost effective technology and Resource recovery strategies.

Inspiration in Life

To me inspiration is the process of instilling faith in someone to motivate to do something in a better way. My all-time motivation is Dr.Raghu Ram Rajan former RBI Governor and current distinguished Professor Booth School of Economics. He inspires me most to do things by example in academic field. His contributions to the fields of finance and economics have been celebrated by many across the world and he has had held many positions of great significance in his career. As he is always unbreakable inspiration for me to strengthen my career as an academician as well as Policy maker.

Research Work in Masters:

He carried out his dissertation in the topic of A STUDY ON SOCIO-ECONOMIC CONDITION OF MGNREGA WORKERS IN MAYILADUTHURAI BLOCK, NAGAPATTINAM DISTRICT’’, under the guidance of Dr. R. Govindasamy Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, Bharathiar University, and Coimbatore.

FDP/ Workshop/ Training Attended:Participated in Seven days Online Faculty Development Program on “Improving the Writing Skills of Early Career Researchers” jointly organised by Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Jammu & Just Agriculture Education Group from 15-21 December, 2022.

Participated in One day Faculty development program on “Teaching Methodology for Alternate Models of Economics” on 25-11-2022 by Bhavan’s Royal Institute of Management Kochi Kerala.

Participated as a delegate in the one day online Faculty Development Program on “Research Methodology” on 27 April, 2020 organized by Bharathiar University Arts and Science College, Pollachi

Attended a seven day National Level Webinar Faculty Development Programme (Multidisciplinary) Organized by Bharathiar University arts and science college (constituent), Thondamuthur, Coimbatore Tamilnadu 11 May to 17 May 2020.
