Introduction
Dr. T.Usharani holds a Doctorate in Commerce with a specialization in Finance from Bharathiar University. She also earned an M.Phil in Commerce from Madurai Kamaraj University and an MBA in Human Resources from Bharathiar University. With fifteen years of dedicated teaching experience, she is a passionate educator known for her strong academic and professional track record.
Her primary areas of interest include Accounting and Finance. She has published numerous research papers in reputed journals and has actively participated in and presented papers at several national and international conferences hosted by esteemed institutions. Additionally, she has successfully organized international conferences and served as the Chief Editor for an ISBN-listed conference proceeding.
She has guided three M.Phil scholars, contributing significantly to academic research. In recognition of her scholarly contributions, she was honoured with the Global Eminent Researcher Award and the Guru Dhrona Award in 2021.
Her doctoral research focuses on hedging strategies for managing crude oil price volatility and its impact on the oil and gas industry’s market capitalization, offering valuable insights into financial risk mitigation and investment decision-making in the energy sector.
