Over Twelve years of Professional Experience in Social Work Research and Training, Mental health, Community Health, Health Policy and Social Work Education. Graduated MSW from Loyola College, Chennai in 2007 and MSc. Counselling and Psychotherapy from TamilNadu Open University, Chennai in 2018. Awarded Community health learning fellowship by SOCHARA, Bengalure in 2011 and subsequently facilitated Community Action for Health project under the aegis of National Rural Health Mission in six districts of Tamil Nadu working closely with Tamil Nadu health systems, NGOs and health resource groups across the state. Awarded UGC-NET JRF in Social Work and pursued the Doctoral degree from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. Published Six papers in reputed International and National Journals and Chapters in edited books like Springer and Bloomsbury. Have copyright for design and development of a smartphone application ‘MAHEAL’- Mental health Literacy Application for school teachers.
