Dr. Devika, with an illustrious 7-year tenure as an Assistant Professor in Visual Communication and Electronic Media, brings rich academic expertise to her role. Her academic competencies include student centric pedagogical methods, curriculum designing, conducting and communicating research. Holding a Master of Philosophy in Journalism & Mass Communication and a Doctor of Philosophy in Communication, she has qualified NET and SLET for Assistant Professorship in State and Indian Universities and Colleges. Dr. Devika is a prolific researcher, with published articles in international journals and esteemed recognitions, including best paper awards at national and international conferences.
Achievements and Activities
- Conducted academy research on e-government services including E-health, Cinema and social constructivism of gender and ICT for marginalized communities.
- She was the only Indian author selected to write a chapter to represent Indian Citizens’ perception of e-government services for an International book.
Vision
Dr. Devika envisions creating socially responsible media professionals by imparting industry-ready skills and media ethics while contributing to instructional progress through research and pedagogy.
