ASSISTANT PROFESSOR – II

Introduction

Ms. Anitha Kumari is pursuing her PhD in Political Science from University of Hyderabad, Telangana. She has done her M.Phil from the Department of Politics and International Studies, Pondicherry University. She has completed her M.A and B.A in Political Science from J.N.R.M Port Blair (Andaman and Nicobar Islands), affiliated to Pondicherry University. She has qualified UGC NET-JRF in Political Science.

Hobbies

Reading non-fictional books to acquire knowledge in her domain area and fictional books for her personal growth, listening music and podcasts; and travelling.

Continuous learning, flexibility and stickler for punctuality.

Purposeful living and contributing my part in making the society we are living in more humane and purpose driven.

Inspiration in Life

My parents are my greatest source of inspiration in my life, by instilling in me the real values from their real life challenges and difficulties.

Research Work in Masters/ M.Phil/ PhD: Freedom of Information law in India

Presentation in Conference: “Right to Information and Common Man with Special Reference to Andaman and Nicobar Islands” at National Seminar on “RTI and Good Governance”, organized by S.N College, Kollam, Kerala, India, from 20th – 21st October 2011.

“RTI & Human Rights: Role of Human Rights Activists” at National Young Scholars Colloquium on State of Research in Human Rights: Perspective and Retrospective at University of Hyderabad, India. 1-2 February, 2012.
