There are four seminar halls named after the legends of India, Dr. Vikram Sarabai, Sir. C.V Raman, Sir. Vishvesvaraya and Swami Vivekananda, each with a 250 seating capacity.
There are well equipped international standard Gyms separately for men / women students and staff in an area of 2400 sq.ft with the latest equipment in the well laid out in in-door Gym units. They are open to students to encourage the Weight lifters, Body builders and Fitness seekers.
The Hall of Martial Arts of KCT trains the students on a variety of martial art forms such as Wushu, Karate, Silambam, Fencing, and Boxing. Performing martial arts prepares the students’ mind and body for a self paced steady growth.
Chess is a game of critical thinking and creative problem-solving. The academy bolsters these skills for the players through chess coaching camps, practice sessions, and tournaments, making them prodigies.

Food is an experience. The KORE cafeteria in the campus that can serve a 1000 at a time, gives a hygienic, quality, timely and tasty food adding to the living and learning experience of the students, faculty and visitors. In the East side of the campus, is the East KORE cafeteria, which has a seating capacity of 450 is located right behind Mahalingam Vigyan Bhavan. The Campus Dining can cater to 240 people. Beside these food courts, Coffee shops such as Namma Cafe, K’s Cafe, Munch Box are places where students relax and share a laugh.Some of these cafeterias are managed by students as an entrepreneurial venture.
KCLAS library has 15000+ journals, 3135000+ books, 40 resources, 16 databases through Information and Library Network (INFLIBNET) Centre of the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India. In addition KCLAS students also can access the Mahatma Gandhi Central Library which ahs 66559 titles and 104475 volumes and has a subscription to 178 print journals, 9122 online international journals and 48 magazines for scholarly communication. It also provides access to printing and e-resources. Open access system is being followed to access the books and journals. Library Policy
There are six blocks for men student residents and three blocks for women student residents. The six blocks for men accommodates 2335 students in 445 rooms. The three blocks for women accommodates 987 students in 329 rooms. Rooms are allocated on a triple sharing basis. Both the divisions are helped with their own dining area, washrooms, lobby, terrace, etc. Vallalar Maiyam and Sarada Maiyam are the facility centers for the men and women student residents of KCT. These centers provide a roof for a TV hall, access to wifi, recreation room, and K’s cafe to enable the residents experience a home away from home. Jyothi Nilayam, the 24,000 sq.ft hospitality suite of KCT was inspired by the classical south Indian courtyard style homes. This has 14 guest rooms, conference room, guest lounge and the dining hall.
The centre sees to a generous education on Gandhian principles through lectures and programs. These inspirational lectures, aiming to pass down the values and thoughts of this great leader, are open to students, faculty and others. Mahatma Gandhi study center has a vivid collection of Gandhian books and a photo gallery that leaves the viewer amazed and indebted to the Father of the nation.The center also reaches out to social work with its wing called Gandhian Youth Movement.
Swami Vivekananda has been a way of life for many across the world for over 12 decades and his preachings have been a path to transformation. Vivekananda study center aims at bringing the evolution of responsible citizens by adhering to the aim of building a Nation with responsible citizens. It is achieved through clear objectives. The center’s activities revolve around creating an enlightened youth, empowering them, channelling their energy towards character building and thereby enriching the nation.
Aruljothi Medical Center in the campus is an eight bedded clinic with two doctors and nursing assistants.
