Guest Talk on Role of Social Media in Business - Kumaraguru College of Liberal Arts & Science (KCLAS)

Department of Commerce organized an Guest Talk on “Role of Social Media in Business” by Mr. Andrew Sam Raja Pandian, Founder & CEO, SimpliCity, Coimbatore on 25th September 2019 for II B.Com PA students. The Guest talk commenced with the welcome and introduction of Guest by Ms.Aswathy of II B.Com PA. The speaker started the session by giving an insight into the Social Media Platforms. He elaborated on how Social media has taken the web world by storm and how it has revolutionized the ways communication take place.

Social media marketing and how it is different from the convention Marketing? He then detailed about the important Principles of Social Media Campaign – Branding, Communicating, Strategy, Positioning and Creativity. The speaker explained each principle by quoting appropriate examples. The session was very interesting and informative as the speaker quoted many real examples and Videos. The session concluded with the vote of thanks by Arjun Kumar of II B.Com PA.
