Workshop on Body language - Kumaraguru College of Liberal Arts & Science (KCLAS)

Department of visual communication had organized a workshop on Body language titled Reading People Beyond Words” by Dr. Kirupa Priyadarshini, Associate Professor, Centre Head – HR, KCT Business School, Coimbatore on our campus on 30th September 2019. Students from BSc Visual communication 1st and 2nd year participated in the workshop. She started the session with small interactive activity, and further the workshop went on with the detailed explanation of non – verbal communication. Students came to know the psychological background of every gestures and body language, practically with reference to video and roleplays. Kirupa gave a clear view on the signs and postures which helped the students to analyse the merits and demerits of their non – verbal communication in the public place. Her half a day session helps the students not only in their academics but also in real life. This was completely a fun filled, informative session.
