Mr Karthi purushothaman is a leader within McKinsey Digital and McKinsey Analytics, as well as its Financial Services Practice. He also co-leads the firm’s insurance work in India with a specific focus on digital and analytics. He has deep experience advising leading financial services organizations around the globe, including in North and South America, India, and Southeast Asia.
In his role, Karthi advises chief executive officers on several topics ranging from artificial intelligence, digital, growth strategy, innovation, and technology to meet the challenges of their changing industry needs. Recent projects include leading the digital and analytics-based growth transformation for a financial institution and developing a data and analytics-driven strategy and operating model for an insurance and asset management organization. He also helped design the market entry strategy into an Asian country for a new-age platform. Before joining McKinsey, Karthi was a product manager at Microsoft’s Enterprise database server group. His prior experiences also include software development lead at Oracle Corporation, co- founder of an NGO, and principal consultant for a pharmaceutical service company.
