Namadhu Pangu collaborated with project Prayogshala and ignited young minds with fun learning activities on STEM concepts.
Students from KCT and KCLAS collaborated for this project pencil.
From department of management Deesha.R and Kabilesh Nataraj volunteered and visited the Union Panchayat High School, Udayampalayam, Coimbatore.
It was truly a refreshing and rejuvenating to interact with students. We provided them a free space by conducting an ice-breaking session to come out of their rigid environment. Students poured talents as we expected. It was purely shocking to us to see them being socially concerned.
Dated on 13th December 2021.
Day1: For an ice breaking session we made the kids play Simon says game. The students of 7th and 8th grade really enjoyed and had a joyous time with us. They started opening up about their likes dislikes and interests. The activity we made them do was come forward and talk about the one thing that inspires them and they came up with such beautiful answers. Few kids drew earth and depicted how COVID pandemic changed their life’s.
Dated: 20th December 2021
Day 2: To increase the group interactivity we divided them in the group of 4 each consisting of 5 members, gave them charts, colour paper and paint boxes this activity was done for two reasons to make them interact with their classmates and not just with their friends and the second reason being we wanted to test their communication and creativity skills. They absolutely shocked us with their extreme talents at first, they were hesitating to come out of their comfort zone it was difficult to bring them out of it at first but after awhile they really enjoyed the task and came up with such mind blowing and brilliant ideas. They loved having us around and we brought them out of their comfort zone and helped them face the real world. After all making a change and creating impact is what learning is all about and that was the aim of our Project Prayogshala.
